Radium on iMac

I just bought the Radium app for my iMac. I wanted a simple user interface for internet radio. I was hoping that I could search and store favourite stations in the app. So far I have not seen any way to do this. In fact I dont see any value in the app. I could go directly to the url radio site and play the station from Safari. I also dont see a user interface I can put on my desktop. When I access it from Launchpad it directs me to a tiny area on the top of my desktop asking for the url or station name. I am used to searching by genre or country and saving my favourites on my Squeezebox Touch and iPeng app which is very intuitive. I was hoping this was similar for my iMac.
Very disappointed
