Happy with the discount

I resisted a strong urge to download the cracked version cuz this was so expensive. Since you droped the price, I bought it right away. Thanks for making such a great radio app, and thanks again for having the discount for people like me who dont really have much!

A worthwhile upgrade

Takes the simplicty and minimalism of Radium 2 and wraps it in a great looking UI with some great new features. Auto-EQ is great, Mountain Lion notification center support, superb airplay controls, and much more.

Perfect!

Simple and very easy to use. Logged into my SiriusXM account and opened up so many more options. Well worth the asking price, especially while its on sale!

Beautiful redesign

Minimalist, efficient, and a great updated look. Works great with SiriusXM in canada, too.

Great customer service. Great app.

After uprading to Radium 3 from Radium 2, I experienced frequent disconnections, something that only occurs with a few users. The developer was quick to jump on the case and provide me with immediate one-on-one tech support, and he sent me number tweaked betas of the application with hopes of resolving the issue. Within a couple days, the issues were resolved. The app runs solid now and it plays without disruptions. Would be nice to have this as a mobile app with cloud-like syncing capabilites. I actually bought this app with hopes of using it with Serius XM, but havent seen a need since the streaming stations sound great and theres plenty of free content. It plays music all day in my office by way of Airplay and an AppleTV. I strongly recommend this app, worth the money.

WOW… Love it!

This is exactly what I needed. Small and simple but solid and with a great UI. Having it as a menu item is very convenient. My favourite station wouldnt work so I contacted the developer and they fixed it the following day. I am more than happy to spend on useful Apps like this and support their developers when the product and service is this good. Keep up the good work.

Clean, easy to use - just right!

I am really enjoying Radium. It sits there unobtrusively in the background until I need access - and then it is but a click away. Even better, when I asked for an obscure radio station from Kyoto to be added, they were most helpful in finding and adding it!

5 stars for simplicity and utility

It works! Quick & easy. My computer is old and iTunes bogged it down, yet I must have music. Radium is perfect. It works with my Apple TVs and Airport Express when iTunes forced me to reboot often. Radium 3 just works.

Great app with awesome support!

This app works perfectly. It sits up in my menubar out of the way, lets me discover a number of different radio stations from around the globe and keep a list of my favourites for quick recall. The only issue I had was not with the app but that one of the my “favourite” stations had upgraded their signal/stream, so Radium wasn’t picking it up anymore. I emailed support and they added the new stream right away. I have to admit though… I too love the old radio icon quite a bit better.

Dont like that it lives in the menu bar

Works pretty well as a radio player - a snappy search brings up radio stations quickly - but for less computer-savvy members of the family, Id rather have a big radio icon I can put on the desktop. Instead, the app puts a tiny heart (not an intuitive choice for radio!) that stays in the menu bar. Right now, after waking my Mac after sleep, the Radium app is stuck on an eternal "Wait" pinwheel. I should Force Quit… except I cant, because, items in the menu bar dont come up in the Force Quit list. Ill have to check their online support FAQ. Oh, wait, there isnt any. Bah.

Listening to my Favourite Local Stations while out of the Region.

This App does exactly what I need: Streams my favourite radio stations that I wouldnt be able to otherwise listen to unless I was located in their local region. I needed an App where I KNEW what I was going to be listening to, not an App that tries to learn my listening habits and suggest similar genres and topics, which is helpful, but like I say- I know what I want to listen to, and Radium helps perfectly. When my station wasnt loading, I contacted their support and shortly after received a response notifying that the problem was fixed right away. GREAT APP!

Personally speaking….Great App

I just applied the recent update and a couple of my favorites were not working. I sent a note to support and they took care of the problem for me. They were also nice in sending me a mail that not only fixed the problem, but they had sent a mail on the progress (not automated). Thats what I like, personalized service!

Radium

What a nice app, good and personalize sevice to customer. This app do exactly what is suoppse to do good work

Great support

Im really enjoying the convenience of this app. Support has been prompt and courteous. Three of my favourite stations were added within days. Since I listen on big stereo speakers, I appreciate the ability to create equalizer settings for each station.

Why I love Radium

I like my Internet radio. Ive tried all kinds of apps/sources for feeds but once I found Radium I looked no further. It is my go-to way to listen to Net radio. It always sits in my menu bar as is ready to go. The listings are great and well-detailed so finding new stations based on name or genre is easy. I save my favourites for regular listening and even use the built-in wish list to remember particular songs, from any feed, that I want to get. I can AirPlay stations (even in Mavericks) all over the house and even adjust individual volume levels. Theres even a built-in equalizer to assist with some feeds that may inherently sound a bit "flat". And if you ever feel like requesting a station that they may not already have, or if you need support, they are friendly and fast. It might seem odd to pay for an app that can give you net radio streams, but I have no regrets at all… Radium is so full featured that I now get to listen to feeds quickly & easily rather than spend all my time searching for and managing them.

great app

Great app, good tech support (when a favourite station stops working) But I miss the pre-App Store version’s radio icon - the heart means nothing, it gets lost on my cluttered menubar

Good app… but bring back the radio icon!

I had to update my Radium app once the previous verion stopped working in Mavericks. I was sad to see the cool little radio icon was removed and replaced with a heart. Please bring back the original icon which made more sense. As far as the app goes, it works well, but sometimes it is a bit tricky figuing out what I need to type into the search to find a particular station. Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 tries to get just the right wording for the app to find the station I want. Just typing in the station call letters and dial number dosen’t always provide the results I am looking for.

Radium on iMac

I just bought the Radium app for my iMac. I wanted a simple user interface for internet radio. I was hoping that I could search and store favourite stations in the app. So far I have not seen any way to do this. In fact I dont see any value in the app. I could go directly to the url radio site and play the station from Safari. I also dont see a user interface I can put on my desktop. When I access it from Launchpad it directs me to a tiny area on the top of my desktop asking for the url or station name. I am used to searching by genre or country and saving my favourites on my Squeezebox Touch and iPeng app which is very intuitive. I was hoping this was similar for my iMac. Very disappointed

This.

Awesome app. Just awesome.

Great for satellite and streaming radio

I use Radium pretty much every day. It sits pleasantly in the menu bar, with a plethora of options just a click (or option-click) away. I stream a variety of satellite, international, national, and local radio. If what you want to listen to isn’t avaialble, just send in an email request. The staff at CatPig are fun and generally very prompt answering your requests.
